As directed by hon’ble Dr. Iqbal Singh Lalpura Ji, the Patron of Global Punjabi Association and as desired by Dr. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal Ji, the President of the Association; an online Google Meet meeting of the office bearers/executive committee members, life members and special invitees has been scheduled on Thursday December 14, 2023, 7:00 – 9:00 pm on meeting link.

- To confirm the proceedings of online meeting No: 12 held on October 31, 2023.
- To share action taken report.
- To discuss the progress of membership drive.
- To discuss and finalize the future events:
- To celebrate Veer Bal Diwas on Tuesday December 26, 2023 (Venue, modalities, and duties to be decided in the meeting.)
- To celebrate Lohri on Saturday, Jan 13, 2024 (To discuss and decide the venue, timing, modalities, duties etc.)
- To organise Interfaith Harmony March at New Delhi in the first week of February, 2024 (World Interfaith Harmony Week is an annual event observed at global level during the first week of February. Date, timing, route, duties, and modalities to be decided in the meeting.)
- To deposit the funds of GPA in post-office or nationalised bank under FDR scheme with maximum interest to avoid devaluation of the funds.
- Miscellaneous if any with the permission of the chair.
- Vote of thanks to the chair and esteemed members.

The meeting started with five times recitation of Mool Mantra of Japji Sahib and Shabad:
ਦੇਹ ਸਿਵਾ ਬਰੁ ਮੋਹਿ ਇਹੈ ਸੁਭ ਕਰਮਨ ਤੇ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਟਰੋਂ ॥

The following decisions were unanimously taken by the executive committee in anticipation of the approval of the general house.
AGENDA ITEM NO: 1. To confirm the proceedings of online meeting No: 12 held on October 31, 2023.

AGENDA ITEM NO: 2. To share action taken report.
- As per the resolution of the House, a letter of thanks was written and delivered to S. Gurlabh Singh Sandhu, Chancellor Guru Kashi University for conferment of D. Litt. (Honoris Causa) degree to S. Iqbal Singh Lalpura Ji, Chairman, National Commission for Minorities, Govt. of India.
- As decided by the House, a letter delivered to Sh. Arjun Ram Meghwal Ji, Hon’ble Union Minister for Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs & Culture, Govt. of India, New Delhi for notification of Mubarik Mazal Mahal (Malerkotla, Punjab) as National Monument and Museum of Communal Harmony & Freedom Struggle.
- As per resolution of the GPA, a letter of request was delivered to His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India for providing space for Office-cum-Guest House to Global Punjabi Association in New Delhi. The same request letter was delivered to Sh. Hardeep Singh Puri Ji, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs, Govt. of India.
AGENDA ITEM NO: 3. To discuss the progress of membership drive.
The latest membership position was discussed with the House and all the Office Bearers and Life Members were requested to identify prominent Punjabis to enroll them as members of GPA.
AGENDA ITEM NO: 4. To discuss and finalize the future events:
- It was discussed and finalised that Veer Baal Diwas will be celebrated at Amritsar on December 26, 2023. Chairman Anand Group of Colleges offered the Venue and Logistics Arrangements for the celebration.
- It was decided that Lohri be celebrated at local level in various cities, wherever the GPA members may make arrangements with the help of social organisations. Efforts will be made to set a new narrative of Lohri celebration.
- It was decided that National Commission for Minorities with the help of GPA and other Socio-religious organisations/NGOs will organise Interfaith Harmony March at New Delhi in the first week of February 2024. The modalities, timing, route, duties and other details will be discussed in a meeting which will be called by NCM at New Delhi.
- 500 memento pens were ordered with engraving of Global Punjabi Association. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal offered to gift these mementos to GPA.
AGENDA ITEM NO: 5. To deposit the funds of GPA in post-office or nationalised bank under FDR scheme with maximum interest to avoid devaluation of the funds.
It was unanimously decided that Rs. 10 Lakhs (Ten Lakhs) be deposited as FDR in nationalised bank for a period of 15 months to earn good interest.
