As directed by hon’ble Dr. Iqbal Singh Lalpura Ji, the Chief Patron of Global Punjabi Association and as desired by Dr. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal Ji, the President of the Global Punjabi Association; an online Google Meet meeting of the Office Bearers/ Patrons/ Honorary Members and Executive Committee Members was held on Thursday, December , 2025, at 06:00 P.M.

  1. Formulation of a year-long plan of commemorative programs in observance of the sacred 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, to continue through November 2026.
  2. Organization of a Seminar on the Common Minimum Programme (1967) presented by Justice Gurnam Singh, former Chief Minister of Punjab.
  3. Planning of Programs, Activities, and Events for the First Quarter of 2026, i.e., up to 31 March 2026.
  4. Presentation of the Roadmap outlining Events, Activities, Programs, and Priority Areas of the Global Punjabi Association (GPA) for the calendar year 2026.
  5. Discussion regarding content uploading and communication through the official WhatsApp Group of the Global Punjabi Association.
  6. Any other item to be taken up with the permission of the Chair.

The meeting started with five times recitation
of Mool Mantra of Japji Sahib and Shabad:

ਡਰੋਂ ਅਰਿ ਸੋ ਜਬ ਜਾਇ ਲਰੋਂ ਨਿਸਚੈ ਕਰਿ ਅਪੁਨੀ ਜੀਤ ਕਰੋਂ
ਅਰੁ ਸਿਖ ਹੋਂ ਆਪਨੇ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਕੌ ਇਹ ਲਾਲਚ ਹਉ ਗੁਨ ਤਉ ਉਚਰੋਂ

ਜਬ ਆਵ ਕੀ ਅਉਧ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਬਨੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਰਨ ਮੈ ਤਬ ਜੂਝ ਮਰੋਂ

The following decisions were
unanimously taken by the executive committee/ Life/ General Members in
anticipation of the approval of the general house.

 

AGENDA NO. 1

Formulation
of a year-long plan of commemorative programs
in observance of the
sacred 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, to continue through
November 2026.

DECISION


i.
Shaheedi Saptaha will be
Celebrated from December 21 to December 28, 2025 by all the members of GPA
and each member will try to connect the people of respective areas with the
Shaheedi of Sehbzadas.


ii.
All the district and state chapter
presidents will chalk out the programs in consultation with their members to
celebrate this week as per their resources.

 iii.
The GPA will write to the Prime Minister, Home
Minister & Governors of Punjab, Haryana, Jammu Kashmir and Delhi to
establish GURU TEGH BHADUR CHAIRS in the Universities of their states.

 iv.
Roads of National Highways/ State Highways be
named after Guru Sahibs.


v.
Seminars/Workshops/ Discussions/Light & Sound
Programs be organized at prominent places in all the states.

AGENDA NO. 2

Organization
of a Seminar
on the Common Minimum Programme (1967) presented
by Justice Gurnam Singh, former Chief Minister of Punjab.

DECISION


i.
The GPA Will organize Seminar on Common Minimum
Program 1967 in some University of Punjab, inviting Eminent Scholars and
Political Thinkers from various parties.


ii.
The Scholars will be requested to write paper on
this important issue of  CMP 1967.

AGENDA NO. 3

Planning of Programs,
Activities, and Events for the First Quarter of 2026
, i.e., up to 31
March 2026.

DECISION


i.
It was unanimously decided that
for the first quarter of 2026 activities and the event the office of GPA will
chalk-out tentative events and get approval from the office bearers and
executive committee members.


ii.
The focus will be primarily on the
Shaheedi of Sahibzadas , Lohri Festival and Printing of Pamphlet on the
Shaheedi of Sahibzadas.

AGENDA NO. 4

Presentation of the Roadmap
outlining Events, Activities, Programs, and Priority Areas of the Global
Punjabi Association (GPA) for the calendar year 2026.

DECISION

 i.
The Roadmap for the year 2026 will
be prepared in consultation with the Office Bearers, Patrons, State
Presidents and Put-up in the next meeting for approval.

AGENDA NO. 5

Discussion regarding
content uploading and communication
through the official WhatsApp
Group of the Global Punjabi Association.

DECISION

 i.
It was unanimously resolved that, in order to
preserve the sanctity of the Global Punjabi Association and maintain its high
standards, there shall be only one Administrator, who will function directly
under the guidance of the Chief Patron. The central website will publish only
those programs, policies, and significant articles or information that have
been approved by the Chief Patron.

ii.
The State Chapters shall be free to develop their
own State Chapter websites, thereby providing opportunities for the
respective office bearers and members of each State Chapter to contribute and
participate and upload the material with the approval of state chapter office
bearers.

AGENDA NO. 6

Any
other item
to be taken up with the permission of the Chair.

DECISION

Due to the
extensive discussions on Agenda Items 1–5, there was insufficient time to
consider any additional miscellaneous items.
