Lohri shall be celebrated at the local level with the active and full participation of local members of the Global Punjabi Association (GPA). 2. On the occasion of Republic Day, all members shall hoist the National Flag at their respective residences and ensure maximum participation of local members and citizens in the celebrations. 3. On Vaisakhi, a General House Meeting shall be convened, and the festival shall also be celebrated as a cultural function on the same day. 4. On Independence Day, all members shall again hoist the National Flag at their residences and encourage the participation of the maximum number of local members and citizens in the celebrations. 5. Janmashtami shall be celebrated at the National Level as a symbol of Hindu–Sikh unity, through a joint celebration. 6. The Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji shall be observed in the form of a seminar, inviting eminent speakers and ensuring maximum participation of GPA members and the general public. 7. The Parkash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji shall be celebrated at the National Level, along with a General House Meeting. 8. The Shahidi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji shall be observed as Hindu– Sikh Unity Day, with participation from all State Chapters. |
9. Veer Bal Diwas shall also be observed at the National Level. It was further resolved that all pending or incomplete membership forms, member data, and cases of non-payment or partial payment of membership fees shall be duly completed and regularized at the earliest. |
