To deliberate upon the observance of the following National-Level events: o Lohri (13th January) o Republic Day (26th January) o Vaisakhi / General House Meeting (13th April) o Independence Day (15th August) o Janmashtami (on notified date) o Diwali (on notified date) o Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji / General House Meeting (on notified date) o Shahidi Diwas of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji as Hindu-Sikh Unity Day (on notified date) o Veer Bal Diwas (26th December) Note: State/Local level celebrations should not coincide with National-level functions.
2. To discuss organizing at least one major function annually at the National Capital, New Delhi.
3. To consider undertaking at least one National-level charity project every year in collaboration with the World Cancer Care Society, preferably in a State Chapter based on specific requirements/ request.
4. To ensure that each State Unit organizes at least one major event annually within its respective state.
5. To review the requirement for each State Chapter to conduct monthly online meetings and submit reports to the National Unit similarly to ensure that each Unit organizes monthly meetings of its Local Members.
6. To discuss and finalize the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Award and Raja Porus Award.
7. To consider honouring Lt. Governor of Delhi, S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, at an appropriate function.
8. To report the outcome of three years audit report by the Chattered Accountant and letter to Commissioner Income Tax Amritsar for condonation of delay (12th March,2026) in filing the returns.
9. To review the roadmap for meetings, functions, and celebrations for the year ending December 31, 2026.

Lohri shall be celebrated at the local level with the active and full participation of local members of the Global Punjabi Association (GPA). 2. On the occasion of Republic Day, all members shall hoist the National Flag at their respective residences and ensure maximum participation of local members and citizens in the celebrations. 3. On Vaisakhi, a General House Meeting shall be convened, and the festival shall also be celebrated as a cultural function on the same day. 4. On Independence Day, all members shall again hoist the National Flag at their residences and encourage the participation of the maximum number of local members and citizens in the celebrations. 5. Janmashtami shall be celebrated at the National Level as a symbol of Hindu–Sikh unity, through a joint celebration. 6. The Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji shall be observed in the form of a seminar, inviting eminent speakers and ensuring maximum participation of GPA members and the general public. 7. The Parkash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji shall be celebrated at the National Level, along with a General House Meeting. 8. The Shahidi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji shall be observed as Hindu– Sikh Unity Day, with participation from all State Chapters. |
9. Veer Bal Diwas shall also be observed at the National Level. With the permission of the Chair, under the Miscellaneous Agenda, it was unanimously resolved and approved that all District, State, Regional, National, and Global Chapter Presidents shall ensure the enrolment of eminent Punjabis as members of the Global Punjabi Association (GPA). It was further resolved that all pending or incomplete membership forms, member data, and cases of non-payment or partial payment of membership fees shall be duly completed and regularized at the earliest. |
